Goldie is changing the face of investing, by lowering the barrier for kiwis to invest in real things.
We’re starting with precious metals and expanding into other real assets such as art and high-value collectibles in the future. Goldie is a New Zealand first and is driven by purpose, we provide access to everyday investors who have been excluded from the real asset industry.

+ Goldie as a Company
When investing with Goldie there are two separate companies involved - Goldie Vaults Limited and Goldie Nominee Limited..
Goldie Vaults Limited operates the fractional asset trading platform, employs staff and makes sure everything keeps ticking on the back-end.
Goldie Nominee Limited holds the physical assets and investors’ money on your behalf, and works with Catalist Marketplace to execute the trades in their regulated marketplace.

The web app makes it super easy to access your digital vault, deposit money, and buy and sell.

Getting Started
+ How do I get started?
Easy, all you need is your email. It’s free to sign up and explore. You’ll be able to browse our platform, your digital vault & learn a little more about Goldie.
Before you can start investing, we need to verify your identity, this only takes a few minutes and can be done on your phone with a NZ driver's licence. We also want to get to know you, so we ask a few quick questions to collect information as part of our anti-money laundering obligations. Yes, it’s the admin part, but we’ve done our best to make it as easy as possible.
Rules: You must be over 18 to open a Goldie account and start investing…. But we haven't forgotten about the kids! We’ve built a great feature so you can set up and manage a vault for kids to help start them on their investing journey.
+ How do I deposit money?
Once you are verified, you can use one of our payment methods to deposit money into your digital wallet.
You’ll have a unique code that you must add to the ‘Reference’ field if you’re using the bank deposit option to make sure your money goes into your Goldie digital wallet.
When you sign into Goldie you’ll be able to see all of your deposits and transactions. There are no charges to deposit money via online banking and only on-charge the small fee for using the instant top-up options through POLi, and Stripe payments. We deal in NZD so no pesky exchange fees either.
+ Can I withdraw my money?
Absolutely! It’s your money after all. We ask you to confirm the account number before sending money back to you, and the bank account you made your first deposit from will be registered on your account.
We may ask you to further verify your identity again before withdrawing funds to make sure it goes to this right place.

+ Promotions
With some promotions, you may have a restriction on when you can withdraw money we have gifted to you. This helps keep you and us safe from nasty money laundering practices.
+ Gifting
If you receive a Goldie gift voucher, you will need to invest this before you can sell the investment and withdraw the funds. This helps ensure that the gift is invested as the gifter intended.
+ I'm new to investing, is Goldie for me?
We’re on a mission to make investing in real things super simple and rewarding for everyone, novices, and specialists alike. Goldie is here to help you get started or keep building on that nest egg. As always, we recommend that you get independent advice as needed to ensure you fully understand any investments you make.
Investing
+ What is the risk of investing?
All Investing involves risk. You are not guaranteed to make money, and you might lose the money you start with. It is super important that you understand the risks associated with investments generally and with Goldie, check out our offer sheet for more info to help you make an informed decision.
+ Can I set up an account for my kids?
With Goldie, it’s easy to open a vault for your little ones. These vaults are connected to your own account until you decide to pass it over to the child (once they are at least 18). Contact us at Support@getgoldie.co.nz for help doing this.
+ Is there a minimum investment amount?
Goldie purchases 1kg Gold bars that our clever platform fractionalises into 10,000 pieces so you can get started with less.
1/10,000th of a kilogram is called a ‘decigram’ which depending on the price of gold at the time you invest is the minimum amount… At the moment, this is approximately $10 – about the same as your triple shot, decaf, mung bean milk latte with pumpkin spice.
+ Will my investment be safe if Goldie is liquidated?
If something were to happen to Goldie, your investment is safe as it is held in an independent company, separate to Goldie Vaults Limited. Physical gold held by Goldie Nominee may be liquidated and you would receive the value of your investment at the market spot price at the time of liquidation.
+ Is my data secure with Goldie?
Goldie has regular security testing done and encrypts all information, we also offer optional multi-factor authentication through the platform that users can add as an extra layer of security to protect their information.
+ Do I have to be from New Zealand to invest?
Yes, at this stage Goldie is only available to New Zealand investors with a valid government issued I.D.
+ Do you accept foreign currency & crypto currencies?
No, currently we only accept New Zealand Dollars through our available purchase methods in the Platform.
+ How do I know you're not a scam? Are you regulated?
Goldie isn't a scam, we’re the real deal built by real people right here in NZ. Goldie operates through the Catalist Public Market which is a regulated financial marketplace - check out more on this here - https://www.catalist.co.nz/
Taxes
+ Do I have to pay taxes on my earnings?
Goldie doesn't provide tax advice and we recommend that investors get specific advice as it relates to their own investments and situation.
Gold
+ Can I physically see the gold I've invested in?
Yeah… why not. Let us know if you would like to and we can work with you and NZ Vault to arrange a suitable time.
+ When can I invest with Goldie?
You can buy whenever it suits you – because the physical gold is held in New Zealand you can place an order 24/7. Orders are executed daily through the Catalist Public Market.
+ Will I own the gold I've invested in?
Goldie and Catalist work together to securitize the physical gold, and issue shares this means you own equity shares in a company that owns the gold, this is the safest and easiest way to manage fractional ownership in physical things.

+ How is the Gold kept safe?
We don't muck around when it comes to keeping your investments safe, we only store and insure the gold in the most secure vaults in NZ. Our partners NZ Vault have been operating NZ's safest Treasury grade vaults since 1931... So they know what's what when it comes to security, including 24/7 monitoring and controlled access at all times.
+ Is the Gold insured?
Yes - All assets are insured at replacement value, meaning if something ever did happen your investment is protected.
+ What is the purity of the Gold?
Goldie only deals in investment grade bullion that is 99.9% purity, this means it is at least 99.9% pure Gold.
+ Can my Gold be worth less than what I paid for it?
The price of gold fluctuates and is determined by the international market, this means that the value of your investment will change and can go up or down.
+ Where does Goldie's Gold come from?
Goldie purchases Gold Bullion through NZ Vault who sources it from around the world, this relationship means we can source the best quality bullion at a great price.
+ Can I transfer my Gold to someone else?

+ What does it cost
Goldie’s Fees
Goldie was born to disrupt the industry with our fees! We've built a platform that gives kiwis (like us) instant trading at market rates... No longer will you need to pay a 50%+ middleman cost for 5g of Silver or needs $150,000 to get as low as a 3% margin.
We encourage you to research the market online. You'll see first hand, how we operate off an extremely low fee model & why Goldie is the best platform to invest in real gold... no matter the size of the investment.
Beta 2.0 (Art & Collectables coming soon)
After launching with gold, we now have 2 new precious metals joining the vault… Silver & Platinum! Meanwhile, we've improved the fee model to reward our engaged users.
Trading
If you've ever traded in real metals, you know the industry charges a significant percentage on trades, we're talking over 50%+ on small trades. On Goldie... auto-investing is $0.5 +0.89%, one-off purchases are $1.5 +0.89% & sales are $2.50 +0.5%.
Note: This is a flat fee, so you’ll pay the same rate on a $1 investment as you would on a $1,000,000 investment. As an additional perk, auto-trades are $0.5.
Storage and Insurance fees (to disrupt the industry)
Rather than paying $200+ annually to store your assets in a vault... it's $1.25 per month!
For insurance, rather than 3%+ on the value of the assets in your vault... with us: Gold 0.33%, Silver & Platinum 0.6%
Why are the fees different for gold & silver?
Even though both gold and silver bars weigh 1kg, gold is denser and more valuable per unit of weight compared to silver. This means gold takes up less space and has a higher value concentration, leading to lower storage and insurance costs per unit value.

Log into you're digital vault and you'll find Gifting in the menu, then:
• You decide how much to gift—any amount is fine
• Send it directly via email, or keep the code to hand over in person
• You’ll be notified when they use it, and they can trade their credit for whatever real assets they like on Goldie
For kids under 18, a parent or caregiver can set up the account, or you can set it up on their behalf and attach their email or their caregiver’s email to make it official.
+ Expiry Details
• Giftees have two years to use the credit in a trade. Once traded, it’s theirs forever to do what they want with.
• Got the details wrong or changed your mind? No worries. The code will still be valid until someone redeems it.
+ Auto-Annual Birthday Gifting Hack (Coming Soon)
Annual gifting made easy. Set a date, add a message, and let Goldie do the rest. Each year, your gift arrives in their inbox like clockwork—even if you totally forget it’s their birthday.
You’ll get an email confirmation, which can also serve as your reminder to give them a call. Just make sure you’ve got cash in your Goldie wallet to transfer on the day. If not, don’t stress—you can still complete the gift manually later.

We’re just getting started. Soon, you’ll be able to personalise your gifts with custom experiences, legacy messages, and more. Goldie Gifting Terms & Conditions
Goldie’s gifting feature allows you to send a meaningful and lasting gift of Gold, Silver, or Platinum credit to someone you care about. By using the gifting service, you agree to the following terms & conditions:
Gift Credit Overview: Gift Credit is purchased with real funds and can be sent to anyone you choose. The recipient can use the credit to trade in Goldie’s platform, investing in any available asset.
Redemption Process
• Gift Credit is tied to a unique code sent to the recipient via email or provided directly by you.
• Recipients must have or create a Goldie account to redeem the Gift Credit.
• If the recipient is under 18, their parent or caregiver must set up an account for them, and the Gift Credit can be attached to their email.
Validity & Expiry
• Gift Credit must be redeemed within 24 months of purchase. After redemption, the credit will not expire as long as it remains invested in a trade.
• If the Gift Credit is not redeemed within 24 months, it will expire, and no refunds will be issued.
Use of Credit
• Once redeemed, Gift Credit can be used for trading any asset available on the Goldie platform.
• Gift Credit cannot be withdrawn for cash, refunded, or exchanged.
• If the Gift Credit is sold out of a trade, it must be reinvested within 30 days.
Incorrect Information: If the recipient’s email or details are entered incorrectly at the time of purchase, the unique Gift Credit code remains valid and can be reassigned to a different recipient.
Legacy Features (Coming Soon): Goldie is developing enhanced gifting experiences, including the ability to add custom messages and legacy notes that allow your recipients to look back on the moments that matter.
Annual Gifting Hack: Goldie offers an annual gifting option where you can set up recurring gifts on a specific date. This feature ensures your gift is delivered on time every year, even if you forget. You’ll receive an email confirmation as a reminder to check in with your loved one.
No Cash Value Clause: Gift Credit has no cash value and cannot be converted into monetary funds. It is solely intended for use within the Goldie platform for trading.
Goldie’s Rights: Goldie reserves the right to review, adjust, reset, or revoke Gift Credit in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or violations of these terms, or to ensure compliance with AML and FMA regulations.
Refunds & Cancellations: Gift purchases are final and cannot be refunded or canceled once the Gift Credit has been redeemed.
Disputes: Any disputes regarding Gift Credit must be brought to Goldie’s attention within 30 days of purchase or redemption. Goldie reserves the right to make final decisions on such matters.
AML Verification for Recipients: Recipients must complete Goldie’s AML verification process before redeeming Gift Credit. This includes providing valid identification and any other required documentation. For minors, their parent or caregiver must complete the AML verification process on their behalf.
FMA Disclosure: Gift Credits are not a financial product but are intended for use solely within the Goldie platform. Goldie operates in compliance with FMA regulations for financial service providers, and the credit cannot be withdrawn as cash for 12 months (Special Credits) or converted into cash at any point (Gift Credits).
Monitoring & Reporting: All Gift Credit transactions are monitored to ensure compliance with AML laws. Suspicious transactions may be reported to relevant authorities, and Goldie reserves the right to block or revoke Gift Credit in such cases.
User Verification: All recipients of Gift Credits must complete AML verification before credits can be withdrawn. For minors, parents or caregivers must complete this verification.
Fraudulent or Suspicious Activity: Goldie reserves the right to cancel or revoke Gift Credit if it suspects fraudulent activity, misuse, or any breach of AML or FMA requirements.
Reward & Special Credit
+ What is this?
Reward & Special Credits are Goldie’s way of saying thank you. Whether you sign up, refer a friend, or qualify for a special reward, you’ll see the credit in your account, ready to be automatically applied at checkout. This credit works differently from deposited funds or gifted credit from your bank account. Reward Credit must stay active in a trade for a minimum of 12 months and cannot be withdrawn before this period is complete.
+ Use It Or Lose it (DBAD Policy)
Special Credits and Reward Credits are gifts funded by Goldie (GVL) and real funds from us. To ensure fairness, legal compliance & prevent misuse, it must remain invested for a minimum of 12 months & cannot be withdrawn during this period. If you sell & move the credit back into your wallet, it must be reinvested within 30 days; otherwise, it will expire.
This our 'Don't be a d*ck' policy to help protect us from individuals taking advantage of the credit without intending to use the platform as it’s designed, allowing us to continue providing value to genuine users like you.
+ Referrals
Share your unique referral code, and you’ll earn credit once your referee makes their first trade. Here’s how it works:
• The referee has 30 days to use the credit after signing up and being verified.
• Once they make a trade, your referral credit activates. You then have 30 days to use your special credit.
• If the referee doesn’t trade within 30 days, neither party receives the credit.
+ Withdrawals
As per our policy, you can withdraw special credits after the 12-month active investment period. However, they must stay in a trade for the full 12 months. If the credit is moved to your wallet and left unused for more than 30 days, the withdrawal timeline resets, requiring the trade to be active for another 12 months.
+ Unlimited Referrals
There’s no limit to how many people you can refer or how much reward credit you can earn. Keep sharing and help us bring Goldie to more Kiwis!
+ T&Cs Expiry Policy
Please read above on the full breakdown. To ensure fair use and continued value to all users, here’s how expiry works:
Trade Activity Requirement: Reward & Special Credits must remain active in a trade for 12 months before they can be withdrawn or sold.
Wallet Time Limit: If you sell your trade and move the credit back into your wallet, it must be reinvested within 30 days, or it will expire.
Reset Period: Time spent out of a trade and in your wallet doesn’t count towards the 12-month activity period. If the credit expires while in your wallet, the 12-month counter resets.
Referral Credits: Both the referrer and referee must use their credits within 30 days of activation. If either party doesn’t trade within this time, the credit expires for both.
We call this our “Use It or Lose It” policy. It ensures the credits are used as intended, helping us keep providing exceptional value to genuine users.
Goldie’s Rights: Goldie reserves the right to review, adjust, reset, or remove Reward & Special Credits at its discretion in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or violations of our policies, or to ensure compliance with AML and FMA regulations. This includes credits deemed inactive, used outside the stipulated timeframes, or associated with accounts breaching our terms.
User Verification: All users must complete Goldie’s identity verification process under AML regulations before withdrawals or transfers of credits can be made.
Tax Responsibility: Users are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws regarding gains or losses associated with their trades. Goldie does not provide tax advice, and users are encouraged to seek independent financial advice.
By using Reward & Special Credits, you agree to these terms, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all users.
+ Compliance
Compliance with FMA Regulations: Reward & Special Credits are issued in compliance with FMA requirements for financial service providers. By accepting or using these credits, you agree that they are intended solely for use on the Goldie platform for trading purposes and do not represent cash or cash equivalents.
AML Obligations: Users must comply with Goldie’s identity verification process before using Reward or Special Credits. This includes providing valid identification and other documents required under AML laws. Goldie reserves the right to freeze or revoke credits if suspicious activity is detected or if required by law.
Misuse of Credits: Any attempt to misuse Reward or Special Credits for unlawful activities, including but not limited to money laundering or fraud, will result in immediate revocation and reporting to relevant authorities.
